You may have noticed that your continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and blood glucose meter results don't match up exactly. That is normal. These two different methods use two different types of body fluids. Your CGM uses interstitial fluid, which is the thin layer of fluid that surrounds the body's cells. Your blood sugar meter uses blood. Both are great for measuring your blood sugar, but there are some differences.
